Services Available at City Hall
Services available at City Hall include voter registration, police reports, building permits, animal licensing, bus tickets and passes, recreation registration, and notary public.  City Hall is located at 420 College Street, SE.  Business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Customers may deposit checks or money orders for utility bills, assessments, business and occupation tax, or traffic citations at any time in the night depository located in front of City Hall.

The Lacey City Council serves as the community's legislative body responsible for approving ordinances and establishing city policy.  Members of the Council are elected for staggered four-year terms.  Every two years they select from the Council a mayor and deputy mayor.  City Council meetings are held the second and fourth Thursday of each month except for November and December when they are held the first and third Thursday.  Meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. at Lacey City Hall, 420 College Street, SE.  The public is encouraged to attend.
